KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
The ideal candidate should be highly skilled in optical alignment and assembly, die attach, wirebond, and welding processes.
Must have good hand/eye coordination and be detail oriented.
Need to be able to read and comprehend procedures and drawings related to the job, and have some computer skills.
The specific process experience we are looking for is as follows: epoxy die attach, eutectic die attach, gold wire-bond, visual inspection, laser welding, optical alignment, and resistance welding.
The technician will interact closely with other team members and engineers.
Must be able to take feedback, learn quickly, and communicate clearly.
You will be involved in building sophisticated assemblies where your feedback as you help assemble parts will be critical to the product development.
We are looking for people both to work both first and second shift. Second shift hours are typically 3PM to Midnight. Initial training may take place at alternate times as necessary.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS (include Education, Skills & Experience):
2 year Associate Degree minimum.
2+ years work experience with the processes highlighted above.
Previous experience in optical assembly is preferred.
