KEY JOB DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Perform failure analysis on customer returned 10, 40 and 100 G optical transceivers
Find the root cause for the failure and implement corrective actions in the factory by working with suppliers, design/process engineers
Document the results and generate high quality customer ready reports.
Drive close loop corrective actions.
Perform risk analysis based on available data
Analyze the historical data and provide continuous feedback to various functional groups
SKILLS & QUALIFICATIONS:
Master or PhD in Electrical Engineering/Physics/other relevant fields
More than 5 years of work experience in failure analysis, design, or engineering of high speed optoelectronic devices
Strong background in electronics and optoelectronics
Knowledge in design and fabrication of optical transceivers and transponders
Hands on experience in testing and data analysis
Knowledge in communication protocols and standards
Working knowledge of various failure analysis tools and techniques
